FYI - I think this is for my seat. Zero plans to run again, $dayjob needs
all my attention.
If you’re interested and want an unfiltered viewpoint and read-in about the
position, happy to help.
Good learning experience.
Warm regards,

[EXTERNAL]
ARIN is accepting nominations through 7:00 PM ET on Friday, 08 July 2022 to
fill one ARIN region seat on the Number Resource Organization Number
Council (NRO NC). The elected candidate is expected to serve a three-year
term beginning 1 January 2023 and incumbents may be re-elected for
consecutive terms. Please review the requirements and information below and
then submit a nomination today!

Nomination Requirements
Any individual, regardless of ARIN Membership status, may self-nominate or
nominate one or more candidates for any open NRO NC position.
All NRO NC nominees are subject to the Conflicts of Interest policy and
should have a track record of involvement with issues related to Internet
number resources. Nominees should also be available to travel to NRO NC and
ARIN meetings, participate in conference calls, and attend to NRO NC
matters. Nominees do not need to be representatives from ARIN Member
organizations, but they must reside within the ARIN region. Additional
information is available on the ARIN website:
- https://www.arin.net/participate/oversight/elections/conflicts/
All nominees must officially accept their nomination and submit their
completed nominee questionnaire no later than 7:00 PM ET, Friday, 08 July,
the same time that the Call for Nominations closes. ARIN strongly
discourages last minute nominations since there may not be adequate time
for a nominee to be notified, accept their nomination, and/or complete and
submit their questionnaire.
What is the NRO NC?
The Number Resource Organization Number Council (NRO NC) advises the NRO
Executive Council on global Internet number resource policy proposals.
Under the terms of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the
Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) and the NRO in
October 2003, the NRO NC also performs the role of the ICANN Address
Supporting Organization Address Council (ASO AC).
Each of the five RIRs appoints three members to the ASO AC. Each RIR’s
community appoints two members and one member is appointed by the RIR’s
Executive Board. The seat that is open for election in 2022 is currently
held by Martin Hannigan.
