Hi Hank,
Thanks for have started this valuable thread,
brother :-)
...no matter whether it's AuP or not :-D

...i'm joining you in thanking John, mostly
for its great support to the INRS (Internet
Numbers Registry System). He is not
alone, other are behaving differently to
achieve a near to same goal...but, maybe
the Internet Numbering community should
ask a Minimum Acceptable Reactivity
(MAR) or Interactivity (MAI) from RIR
Boards and Executive's Representatives?

...a real challenge, that John is keeping surmonting in time to time :-)
We shall learn from his patience too.

Andrew, the CEO of Internet Society showed
us this kind of impressive activism with
the community...and it's always a real
pleasure to experience something like
that. But we should understand that it's
not really affordable :'-(
As said above, others have their own,
approach; towards the same interactive goal...imho! what's worth nothing is
that
the Internet Numbering Community
deserves, what i called, above, a MAR/MAI :-)
...and we should agree on that, to ask for
it within the regional RIRs we have more
interactions with.
Within AfriNIC, the CEO (Eddy) uses two
particular kind of tools to interact with
the community:
1| a monthly email communication, where
he tries to report most of the activities done within its team an answers
the questions from the community.
2| JENGA; very regular gathering where the CEO and Staffs have opened, face
to
face, interactions with resource members
and the community within the service
region.
Thanks.
Shalom
