Hi Bill,
It's true that the rapid rise in IPv4 prices has incentivized some owners to hold and lease, but of course it has likewise incentivized some owners to sell at the high prices.
If the address sale market dries up but leasing is available, why is that a travesty?
Those in need still get addresses.
The leasing agents you mention are getting paid for a service provided, is there a problem there?

Hi Mike,
I suppose my real worry is that the address sale market dries up
because it's more lucrative to lease them. With leasing agents running
around helping address holders monetize their IP addresses through
leasing in order to take a cut. That would be a travesty.
