[arin-ppml] Stratus astroturfing

You know what they say about assuming.

I have my own IP block, which I waited a long time on the list for. Stratus brought this issue to my attention and thought that it could be addressed on this list. I felt it was unfair, so I voiced my opinion. There were no incentives offered or recieved, but Stratus has always been a good provider and vendor so I chose to try and help them. I, though, spent time to formulate an answer and not just cut and paste so to speak, but others are within their right to do so as well, being as this is a public list. Make whatever assumptions you'd like, speaking for myself I would not have spoke up if I felt the issue was addressed fairly.

CAUTION: This email originated from outside the organization. Do not click links or open attachments unless you recognize the sender and know the content is safe.

You can assume that Stratus (Tom Pruitt, Network Engineer, Stratus Networks) has incentivized their customers/vendors to advocate for the policy. They will likely obtain additional IPv4 space if the policy goes into effect.

Regards,

Robert

Who are all these people that "support the Stratus stance" out of nowhere and do they have any opinion on why they support it or know what they're supporting?
