4.11 Source of IPv4 addresses

An organization requesting number resources under section 4 may
specify whether they want the request satisfied from ARIN's free pool
of addresses or from number resources released to ARIN under section
8.3. If not specified, approved requests will be filled from the first
available source.


8.3. Transfers to Specified Recipients

In addition to transfers under section 8.2, IPv4 number resources
within the ARIN region may be released to ARIN by the authorized
resource holder, in whole or in part, to be used when filling a
specified, pre-approved request under section 4.
