As an elected member of the ARIN Advisory Council, I feel compelled to
state that while I see myself as accountable directly to the ARIN
region (as you state); I completely disagree that means "securing
resources for use within ARIN" exclusively and in all cases,
particularly when it could/would cause harm to the Internet ecosystem
at large.

I believe that Internet stability is of utmost importance to everyone
I am accountable to and that it is a higher goal than securing IPv4
addresses for them individually (the greater-good vs. individual-need
is how I see it). Please feel free not to vote for me the next time
around if you disagree.

Agreed. We should not put any region's need above that of another.
