    To the extent that you encourage new folks who are unaware of Internet numbering,
    ARIN, or the Policy Development Process to participate in the PPML discussions,
    it would be good if you could arrange some form on orientation for them - e.g. on
    nature of IPv4 and IPv6, ICANN/IANA/RIR overview, and ARIN specific information
    such as the ARIN Advisory Council, Policy Development Process, and Public Policy 
    Meeting (PPM)

    We provide a First-Time attendees overview at each ARIN PPM, and pointing
    them at those slides might make a good start for folks relatively new to ARIN.
    The Public Policy Mailing List and Policy Development Process is open to all.
