I prefer to speak for myself on this.

My comment about dialing things back was intended to be considered by
all and not as judgment on any participants viewpoint. The process
needs to play out to see what will happen and if any of the differing
view points on this ring true.

Differing opinions are a valuable and welcome input that should, when
properly analyzed for root cause, help us to "do better".
