There's a problem that as IPv4 addresses become scarcer relative to demand, the differential attracts con-men of various sorts who believe they can lighten the wallets of the unwitting. Personally, I don't mind a few reminders being included here and there that we do live in a lawful society, both as a reassurance to the unwitting, and a warning to those who would otherwise take advantage of them.
