Bill H,

As one of the AC members on the PDP Committee I'm sorry you think this
work is being done in such a secretive fashion?

Lee Howard gave a presentation at the Atlanta meeting explaining what we
are working on, problems identified, what's in scope, next steps, and the
floor was open for discussion. You can find the presentation here.

ward_pdp_comm.pdf

Then Lee provided another presentation of our progress in San Juan last
week, and the floor was open for discussion. That presentation is here.

ward_pdp.pdf

As it states in the presentations, one of the next steps will be to send a
draft to PPML for comment. If you have concerns with the existing process
that you would like to note, let me know. If you have thoughts about the
goals, or issues identified in the presentations, let me know.

I am abundantly aware of the issue some people have with the AC's standing
rule. I am confident this will be discussed on the next PDP call. How else
would you like to see the policy development process improved?

Sincerely,
Dan Alexander
