It is interesting to look at the IPv4 runnout predictions on this site,
<http://www.ipv4depletion.com/old.html> and see that they predict APNIC
will run dry in Jan 2012 and ALL THE OTHER RIRs will run dry by June
2012.
It appears that all the RIR-level exhaustion events are converging on
the first half of 2012, not spread out over a couple of years like many
have thought.
I have long expected that Wall Street analysts would end up grilling
CEOs on their IPv6 transition plans. Getting this close to the end, I
wonder if anyone has heard of this happening?
