If you wired up your campus in 1990 you probably got a /16 worth of v4,
right about now that probably seeming kind of tight.
In a previous job, I assigned each of the network labs on our mountain
view campus a separate /48, being discrete entities with their own
allocation policy and requirements (albiet with a common upstream) that
seemed like quite a reasonable approach.
In the current job we have seperate /48s set aside for the Redwood
Shores campus and the colocation facility in santa-clara given their
diverse functions.
The requirements are somewhat idiosyncratic to the respective companies
and the former received it's /32 in 2000 whereas the later received a
/43 in 2009.
