Those of us who are diametrically opposed to a transfer policy have that
position because it is just a bad idea.  I have gone on at length as to why
it is a bad idea, and see no need to do so again.

When an idea is flawed at it's core it doesn't matter how you sugar coat it,
what angle you look at it from, what rationalization you come up with for
it, at the core it is still a bad idea.

If someone is going to poke you in the eye with a big stick it would be a
bad idea.  It doesn't change if they wash the stick first so you don't get
an infection, it doesn't change if they smear k-y jelly all over the stick
first, it doesn't matter if someone else is going to do it if they don't, it
doesn't matter if someone else is also going to get a stick poked in their
eye too, it is still a bad idea.
