Hello Michael:

Lessons learnt - not currently available although there's a presentation
containing FREE.FR as an example, by CISCO's Mark Townsley available on:

http://www.netnod.se/presentations/ipv6ws080423/netnod-ipv6-townsley.pdf

It is interesting that around 5% of their subscribers have "opted in" in 6
months.
I have no link with free.fr whatsoever, but here are some links (and there
is a selection on the right which translated the pages to English, Chinese
or Turkish:

http://www.free.fr
http://www.free.fr/adsl/pages/internet/connexion/adresse-ip-en-protocole-ipv6.html

IPv6 is shown as a key success factor, an advantage over the competition:

http://www.free.fr/adsl/pages/accueil/plus-de-20-exclusivites.html

and here's how a subscriber switches IPv6 on:

http://www.free.fr/assistance/707-freebox-adresse-ip-et-reverse-dns-ipv6.html

That's what I call pioneering. Free is using 6rd encapsulation (a kind of
6in4 encapsulation). IMHO, other ISPs should learn from this strategy. Those
who don't might disappear.

O.
