Hello Michael:

Lessons learnt - not currently available although there's a presentation 
containing FREE.FR as an example, by CISCO's Mark Townsley available on:

It is interesting that around 5% of their subscribers have "opted in" in 6 
months.
I have no link with free.fr whatsoever, but here are some links (and there 
is a selection on the right which translated the pages to English, Chinese 
or Turkish:

IPv6 is shown as a key success factor, an advantage over the competition:

That's what I call pioneering. Free is using 6rd encapsulation (a kind of 
6in4 encapsulation). IMHO, other ISPs should learn from this strategy. Those 
who don't might disappear.
