Or he might try flying instead of driving - it is after all actually statistically safer as well as a faster more modern approach for getting from point A to point B... Although a horse and buggy might work too but you have to deal with all the crap and flies...

Yes there is a brick wall looming in the headlights.
There are a lot of passengers along for the ride.
Even if the driver jumps out of the car just in time, the net
"outcome" (i.e., tragedy) will be about the same.

A wise driver might consider braking and turning instead....
