On 18 December 2008 the ARIN Advisory Council (AC), acting under the
provisions of the ARIN policy development process, recommended that the
ARIN Board of Trustees adopt Policy Proposal 2008-5: Dedicated IPv4
block to facilitate IPv6 Deployment. The next step for this proposal is
the review by the ARIN Board of Trustees.

The AC postponed making a decision about the following two proposals
until their meeting in January:
* IPv4 Recovery Fund
* Depleted IPv4 reserves
