I think that you can count on this happening, almost certainly.

Nobody putting money down for a set of Ebay IP addresses is going
to put any money down for addresses that have ANY murkiness in
their ownership.

Assuming of course that we are all stupid enough to ever allow 
buying and selling of IP addresses.
