How is this commentary?

If you look at http://news.google.com/news?q=arin+ipv6 you'll see  
that the 2010 date is widely reported without many caveats.

/. isn't exactly representative of the general public... And Slashdot  
IPv6 discussions pretty much go along these lines:

"Use NAT, n00b. All 1337 of my Linux boxes share a single IP and it's  
safer, too!"

"NAT is not a firewall."

"NAT sucks."

"You suck."



It is interesting to note that the discussion always comes back to  
the legacy class A issue. I'm thinking that IF we want (some of) that  
reclaimed, the powers that be must set this in motion sooner rather  
than later to allow for the lawyers to do their thing before the  
space is needed. And if not, some explaining why this isn't going to  
happen would be good.
