The topic of predicting the exact time/date for IPv4 "exhaustion" is a
complete waste of time. The only thing that really matters is that
it's going to happen (with certainty) and soon enough that it is now
foolish to push off preparing/planning for it.

Whether it happens 6 months or a year earlier or later from a
prediction made today just doesn't matter much, as the action to be
done now is pretty much the same, regardless of the date: Get ready
and make real plans.
