Leo addressed this, but yes, they are fine for some.
Most companies want support by default, even for a single 
seat. There's also the assumption that certificate users can
use both. Many corporate security policies dont allow users
to 
install software, and some have specific restrictions on
open 
source of freeware. This is more complicated than it sounds,
to be honest.

Kinda moot, though. :-)
