Have a bake sale and buy them back.  

Yes, I am being somewhat facetious but understand that the p&m won't fix
the problem.  There are options and all of them need to be considered.

Outline the problem and lay out every possible solution.  Identify each
solution's feasibility and probability using a point system.  Take the
most viable solutions [with the hightest combined point rating] and attack
them first.

Actions speak louder than words.  The trustees and advisories should be
able to tell us the best way to tackle this [and other] issues.  Where is
the plan?
