We have a couple of requests from him as well but I'm just not going to
bother replying. 

It is a crazy idea in the first place. What percentage of people who
have to manually type in an IP address are going to mistype it? And of
that percentage, what smaller percentage would not also mistype an
address like 8.8.8.8 ?
