Andrew -

Yes we can do outreach (and even provide a reminder and link in ARIN Online.)

As for just filling out your voting contact and clicking “ok”, we can do something along those lines but probably need to be somewhat more circumspect detailing in the consequences of proceeding -

For example - “Your organization will be listed publicly on the ARIN general member list and in any list of eligible voters for ARIN elections.” One of these is required by VA Non-stock corporation act and doesn’t strictly need to be mentioned, but the
other (while perhaps obvious) should be clear that it is a consent being provided by applying for general membership.

Given that ARIN is giving all the end-users membership in 2022. Does ARIN plan to do an outreach to educate the end-users about the options available to them now as general members? It only seems reasonable to me that ARIN do that so that old-end-users
now new-service-members know they have the free right and option to vote and otherwise participate as general members.

Which is to say, I guess I'm ok with the conversion, and that by default end-user-orgs are put into the service-member category, but we should at least explain to them all this and let them easily decide and provide easy directions for them to become
general members. Something like, login to ARIN online, click this button, fill out who the voting contact will be. Hit OK!
