This is actually something that I have never understood.<br>

ARIN ist the only RIR that went backwards with the IPv6-policy, from<br>
"a member can get a /35, no questions asked" to a *smaller* size, while<br>
all the other RIRs went to a /32 or even bigger.<br>

It's not like there is a foreseeable shortage in /32s...<br></blockquote><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">You can and should, at least in my opinion, get at least a /32, you may elect to receive a /36 or even a /40, if you wish to minimizing $, instead of maximizing your future flexibility, it is the ISP’s choice.</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">Note: even if you elect to get a smaller block, you can go back up to /32 any time you wish, without any further justification.
