Sometimes I just want that one clean bit of info not the spew that comes on the RDAP side giving me all the info. Can I ask again before REST goes away that all the queries supported on REST are also made available in RDAP. I have mentioned many times before we can’t do things like this in RDAP https://whois.arin.net/rest/cidr/205.187.0.0/16/more <https://whois.arin.net/rest/cidr/205.187.0.0/16/more> to get the more specific breakouts from larger CIDRs and that is fairly important to us especially on ranges we have really cut up with reassignments or on blocks where I don’t hold all of it.

Hi,

ARIN does implement the "down" search of RFC9910 in their RDAP service.
So for the icann-rdap client this would be "rdap down:205.187.0.0/16".

Down isn't exactly equivalent to "more" because it only gets the next level "down". However, if ARIN were to also implement the link relations of RFC9910, then a client can walk the hierarchy down (which the icann-rdap client will do), which is the equivalent of "more".
