This Consultation is in response to Suggestion Number 2011.31: Publish
List of 8.3 Transfers:
https://www.arin.net/participate/acsp/suggestions/2011-31.html.
ARIN is seeking community input regarding whether ARIN should maintain
and publish a list of all prefixes transferred under section 8.3 of the
NRPM. Please refer to the Number Resource Policy Manual for more
information on that policy at
https://www.arin.net/policy/nrpm.html#eight3.
This suggestion asks that ARIN maintain and publish a list of all
prefixes transferred under section 8.3. The list should identify the
original prefix (the block originally held by the transferor) and each
subdivided prefix (each partial block derived from that original block)
transferred under this policy, and should include the date each prefix
was transferred. Additionally, this suggestion has asked that as soon
as possible following implementation, ARIN include in this list, all
prefixes which have been previously transferred under section 8.3 to
date.
ARIN would like to feedback regarding the value of providing this
informational service to the community as there has been related
discussion regarding this topic on mailing lists. ARIN seeks clear
direction through community input.
Comments regarding this proposed suggestion can be submitted through the
ARIN Consultation and Suggestion Process, available at:
