Due to Martin Hannigan’s recent resignation, there is one additional seat open on the Advisory Council. The candidate with the sixth highest count of votes will fill this vacated seat for a one-year term. ARIN received no petition requests; the slate of candidates remains the same as announced on 17 September.
Elections for the one seat on the Number Resource Organization Number Council (NRO NC) will be held online 17 October - 24 October. The final slate of candidates is:

Designated Member Representatives (DMRs) from ARIN's general members in good standing as of 25 August 2012 will be asked to vote for two candidates in the Board election and five candidates in the Advisory Council election. ARIN requires that a name and personalized email address be on record for the DMR; role accounts are not acceptable. Voter eligibility must be established by 10 October. Member organizations that are not in good standing or do not have a valid DMR on file as of 10 October 2012 will not be eligible to vote.
Additionally DMRs, NANOG Meeting attendees, and ARIN Meeting attendees (remote and in person) will be eligible to vote online from 17 October - 24 October 2012 in the Number Resource Organization Number Council (NRO NC) election. NANOG or ARIN attendees that have not registered for their meeting by 10 October 2012 will not be eligible to vote.
