ARIN is heading to beautiful Bridgetown, Barbados, for ARIN 53. Our spring Public Policy and Members Meeting takes place 14-17 April 2024 at the Hilton Barbados Resort and virtually via the Zoom webinar platform. ARIN 53 Meeting Orientation
Whether you’ll be with us in Barbados or joining us from home, don’t miss our virtual Meeting Orientation on Tuesday, 9 April, at 2:00 PM ET to find out how to make the most of your ARIN 53 experience. RSVP to attend the Meeting Orientation during the registration process; if you’ve already registered for ARIN 53 and wish to attend the orientation, simply visit https://arin.swoogo.com/arin53/sign-in to modify your registration to reserve your spot.

Keynote
Join us on Monday morning to hear Brent Mc Intosh, Chief Technology Officer of MCNET-SOLUTIONS, discuss how the Caribbean can build and sustain its digital infrastructure with Internet exchange points and IPv6 technology and continue to bring economic success to its region.

Policy Discussions
The public policy portion of ARIN 53 features five Recommended Draft Policy and four Draft Policy discussions on Monday, 15 April, and Tuesday, 16 April. The agenda includes:

- Draft Policy ARIN-2022-12: Direct Assignment Language Update
- Recommended Draft Policy ARIN-2023-1: Retire 4.2.1.4. Slow Start
- Recommended Draft Policy ARIN-2023-4: Modernization of Registration Requirements
- Recommended Draft Policy ARIN-2023-5: Clean-up of NRPM Sections 4.3.4, 4.4, 4.10 and 6.10.1
- Recommended Draft Policy ARIN-2023-6: ARIN Waitlist Qualification
- Recommended Draft Policy ARIN-2023-7: Clarification of NRPM Sections 4.5 and 6.11 Multiple Discrete Networks and the addition of new Section 2.18 Organizational Identifier (Org ID)
- Draft Policy ARIN-2023-8: Reduce 4.1.8 Maximum Allocation
- Draft Policy ARIN-2024-1: Definition of Organization ID/Org ID
- Draft Policy ARIN-2024-2: WHOIS Data Requirements Policy for Non-Personal Information

**How to Attend the Meeting**

Each morning during ARIN 53, attendees will receive an email with information about that day’s session. If you’re a virtual attendee, that email will contain a link to access the Zoom meeting.

The Zoom session will open 15 minutes before the meeting starts each day; feel free to join early to say hello to and chat with your fellow attendees. If you’re on location in Bridgetown, just take a seat before the meeting begins at 9:00 AM AT.

**In-Person Activities**

Welcome Reception
Mingle with your colleagues on a stunning Caribbean beach during the ARIN 53 Welcome Reception, held on Sunday, 14 April, from 6:00 to 7:00 PM AT.

ARIN 53 Evening Social
On Monday, 15 April, enjoy the tropical ambiance of The Boatyard in Bridgetown. Dinner will be served, and a cash bar is available. Attendees must wear their meeting badge for this event.

Resource Public Key Infrastructure (RPKI) Deployathon
For those attendees who are interested in learning more about ARIN’s RPKI service and how it can help secure your resources, we encourage you to participate in our RPKI Deployathon on Wednesday, 17 April, held directly after the conclusion of ARIN 53. ARIN RPKI experts will be available to help guide you through creating your first Route Origin Authorization and to answer any questions you may have.

Caribbean Roundtable
On Wednesday afternoon, ARIN will host a Caribbean Roundtable with Caribbean stakeholders and conclude the day with a welcome reception for attendees staying or arriving to attend CaribNOG 27.
