This message is shared on behalf of the Address Supporting Organization (ASO) as a decisional participant in the ICANN Structure. These notifications to the RIR communities are required by the ASO Procedures for ICANN Empowered Community Powers.

Notice to the ASO Community on Rejection Action Petition Period for Board Approval of Standard Bylaws Amendments in Articles 8, 12, and 27 of the ICANN Bylaws

 

As a Decisional Participant, the Address Supporting Organization received a notification from the ICANN Secretary requiring Decisional Participants to promptly inform their constituents of the delivery of below ICANN Board decisions on Standard amendment in articles 8, 12 and 27 of the ICANN Bylaws.

 

The amendments are related to the composition and terms of the ICANN NomCom (Article 8 with a transition article and article 27), the implementation of the NomCom Standing Committee (Article 8) and change in how the RSSAC is selected (Article 12).

Notice to the ASO on Community Approval Action Community Forum on Board Approval of Fundamental Bylaws Amendments in Articles 18 and 19 of the ICANN Bylaws

 

As a Decisional Participant, the Address Supporting Organization received a notification from the ICANN Secretary requiring Decisional Participants to promptly inform their constituents of the delivery of below ICANN Board decisions on Fundamental amendments in articles 18 and 19 of the ICANN Bylaws.

 

The amendments are related to the IANA Naming Function Reviews and the IANA Naming Function Separation Process.
