ARIN and the 2021 Nomination Committee (NomCom) are asking for your input regarding this year’s ARIN Board of Trustees and Advisory Council (AC), and Number Resource Organization Number Council (NRO NC) nominee questionnaires.

In the fourth quarter of each year, our membership elects individuals to the Board of Trustees and AC, and two out of three years, one ARIN-region representative to the NRO NC. To be considered for a seat on one of these bodies, a nominee must submit an online questionnaire that provides detailed information about their relevant experience and position on key community issues. Those “key community issues” are why we’re seeking your feedback.

We will publish the nominee responses to the questionnaires along with the candidate’s biography via an online 2021 ARIN Voter Guide when the Initial Slate of Candidates is announced early this Fall, and these responses will also be available in the biography section on the ballot.

If you have specific questions or general themes/challenges facing ARIN that you’d like nominees to respond to, please submit your suggestions for consideration no later than 5:00 PM ET on Friday, 14 May at:
https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2021ARINquestions

You may submit suggested nominee questions for any or all of the 2021 elections, and multiple suggestions per type of election are allowed.

The 2021 NomCom will review all questionnaire submissions for the ARIN Board and AC, and ARIN’s Executive team will review all questionnaire submissions for the NRO NC to determine a final list and phrasing of all candidate nominee questions. The ARIN Board of Trustees will also be approving a base set of questions to be completed by Trustee nominees, and the NomCom may propose additional questions to be added to the questionnaire but may not alter or revoke the Board-approved questions.

For information about the NRO NC election/appointment procedures and to view nominee questions from last year, please visit:

ARIN and the NomCom greatly value feedback from community like this and look forward to your participation!
