[arin-announce] ARIN 48 Registration Now Open

Registration is now open for the ARIN 48 Public Policy and Members Meeting,
a hybrid event, that will provide opportunities to participate virtually and
in-person in Minneapolis, MN. ARIN 48 will take place over a span of several
days and is divided into three segments:

Public Policy Meeting

First off, the Public Policy Meeting is a virtual event from 19-20 October
from 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM ET each day. At this meeting, attendees will gather
virtually to discuss draft Internet number resource policies. To learn about

ARIN Election Forum

The ARIN Election Forum will then be held virtually on 28 October, from
12:00 PM - 2:30 PM ET, and is dedicated to the candidates running in the
2021 Election for the Board of Trustees, Advisory Council (AC), and the
Number Resource Organization Number Council (NRO NC). It will include
candidate speeches and the Board and AC Candidate Forums. 

Members Meeting

Lastly, the Members Meeting will be a hybrid event, hosted in person in
Minneapolis, MN as well as virtually, on 4 November from 10:00 AM - 2:30 PM
CT. This event will include a keynote speaker, panel discussion, and
organizational updates from ARIN executives. For hotel details, travel

Other meeting-related activities include:

- ARIN 48 Virtual Fellowship Program: Applications are accepted through 25
August; for additional information and link to the application site, visit

- Virtual Newcomer Orientation: On 14 October at 2:00 PM ET, come learn
about ARIN and find out how to make the most of your meeting experience.

You only need to register once to attend any and all meeting dates virtually
and in-person. 

Virtual Meeting Participation

A link to access the virtual meeting will be emailed to all registered
attendees before each session. Registration is free, and all remote
registrants will be listed as registered participants on the meeting website
and in the archive of the meeting on the ARIN website. You must register for
the meeting in order to submit comments and questions and vote in straw
polls. The ARIN 48 chat in the Zoom webinar will be monitored to ensure that
all participants adhere to the ARIN Participants Expected Standards of
Behavior at: https://www.arin.net/about/corporate/standards/.
