ARIN is pleased to present the latest version of ARIN Online, including 
improvements, new features, and enhancements. Full release notes are 
included below this message.

All ARIN systems have been restored and are now operating normally. We

Release Notes

Pages and processes in ARIN Online were redesigned and streamlined to 
improve the user experience (ACSP 2011.21 and ACSP 2016.02). Notable 
changes include:

  * Billing, Invoice Payment and History, Reverse DNS, Resource Public
    Key Infrastructure (RPKI), ARIN Consultation and Suggestion Process
    (ACSP), Fraud Reporting, CIDR Calculator, and Whois Inaccuracy
    Reporting pages have been updated, among others.
  * The login process was improved, and the link to log in to ARIN
    Online was moved to a new location on the site’s web pages.
  * Profile and security settings (such as two-factor authentication and
    API key) are now located in the drop-down menu under your name.
  * Notifications, including messages, correspondence, and notifications
    about your user account, are now accessed by choosing the icon next
    to your name.
  * Point of Contact (POC) records, Organization Identifiers (Org IDs),
    and the Associations Report are found under the Your Records menu item.
  * Implemented Google’s reCAPTCHA to provide security for the ACSP,
    Fraud Reporting, Whois Inaccuracy Reporting, Recover Username, and
    Reset Password pages.
  * Added accessibility features, such as improvements for screen readers.
  * Improved page display and responsiveness on mobile devices.
  * Performed development work on new website, including migrating data,
    creating new navigation and menus, and improving the user interface
    and user experience.
  * Implemented a combined Site/Whois search on the website that
    includes a web interface to Registration Data Access Protocol (RDAP)
    in the combined search function (ACSP 2016.3).
  * Provided ARIN staff with the ability to open tickets on a customer’s
    behalf; the customer can choose to accept or reject the ticket.
  * Worked on improving Whois performance tuning.
  * Implemented the following RDAP changes:
      o      Added network type field (type) to the IP Response object
        for RDAP.
      o      Added network status array (status) to the IP Response
        object for RDAP.
      o      To satisfy RFC 7480 requirements, ARIN’s RDAP service now
        allows application/json as an Accept header, in addition to
        application/rdap+json. It will always return RDAP responses with
        Content-Type of application/rdap+json.
