ARIN hopes you will join us 24-26 October for ARIN XXX, but if you can't
make it to Dallas, we invite you to participate online. Remote
participants are encouraged to contribute to policy discussions and
other meeting sessions as part of ARIN's on-going effort to create a
community-wide open forum.
In order to participate remotely, you must register for the meeting. To
register for free, visit: https://www.arin.net/ARIN-XXX/. Click
"Register for ARIN XXX" and select "ARIN XXX Remote Participant" from
the drop-down menu.
When you register as a remote participant, you should be sure you have a
Jabber client and be ready to supply your Jabber Identifier (JID). Your
JID will allow you to log in to the meeting chat rooms. For all the
details visit: https://www.arin.net/ARIN-XXX/remote.html
Before the meeting, be sure to check the schedules for remote
participation and don't forget to download the meeting materials which
will be available online. The discussion guide and Number Resource
Policy Manual will help you to follow along, and be sure to check out
all the other great resources we have compiled about new service and hot
topics.
It is true that there is no need to register is to view the webcast or
live transcript, but as a registered remote participant, you will be
able to submit comments during normal question and answer periods and
"raise your hand" to be counted during polling. ARIN believes that
remote participants have as much to contribute to the policy process as
the in-person attendees. To thank remote participants for taking time
out to log in, ask questions, and vote in straw polls, we will be
sending verified remote participants an ARIN XXX t-shirt to thank them
for their participation.
All remote participants are subject to the Remote Participation
Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) found at:
https://www.arin.net/participate/meetings/remote_aup.html
Complete information about remote participation is available at on the
remote participation page of our website:
https://www.arin.net/ARIN-XXX/remote.html
Whether you plan to be on-site or can only take part remotely, we look
forward to your participation at ARIN XXX. Please contact us at
info at arin.net if you have any questions.
Regards,
