[arin-announce] Joint NRO / ASO AC Response to ASO Review Report

In accordance with the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and 
Numbers (ICANN) Bylaws, the Number Resource Organization (NRO) 
undertakes independent periodic reviews of the Address Supporting 
Organization (ASO).

ITEMS International, a consultancy engaged by the NRO to conduct this 
current review, delivered its report in early 2012. A public comment 
period closed on 6 April 2012.

On 30 April 2012, the NRO submitted its considered response to the 26 
recommendations of the report and the one recommendation received during 
the ICANN public comment period. Its response was formulated with the 
assistance of the ASO Address Council (ASO AC).

The NRO extends its thanks to all of those who have participated in this 
process.
