Registration is now open for the ARIN XXIV Public Policy and Members 
Meeting, 21-23 October 2009 in Dearborn, Michigan. The meeting is being 
held back-to-back with NANOG 47, 18-21 October at the Hyatt Regency 
Dearborn, and information about the meeting, hotel, and remote 
participation is available at:

The special room rate of $159(USD) single/double occupancy is available 
until 30 September 2009. Reserve your room now, as space is limited.

ARIN holds open, biannual Public Policy and Members Meetings, to provide 
an opportunity for the entire Internet community to contribute to 
Internet number resource policy discussion and development, network with 
colleagues, and attend workshops and tutorials. Current policy proposals 
up for discussion at this meeting are available at:

ARIN XXIV Overview

* Tuesday, 20 October: The pre-meeting agenda includes a lunch for first 
time ARIN meeting attendees. In the evening, there will be the 
Introduction to the Policy Development Process and Open Policy Hour 
sessions and a Happy Hour with pizza and beer

* Wednesday, 21 October: Joint ARIN/NANOG Session on IPv6, ARIN Public 
Policy Meeting, Day 1 , featuring speeches from Board, Advisory Council 
and NRO NC candidates

* Thursday, 22 October: ARIN Public Policy Meeting, Day 2 and ARIN 
evening social at the Henry Ford Museum

* Friday, 23 October: ARIN Members Meeting (open to all ARIN XXIV attendees)

ARIN continues to offer expanded remote participation options. Register 
your Jabber Identifier to submit questions and comments and to raise 
your hand during consensus polling. The webcast and live transcript of 
the entire Public Policy and Members Meeting including the Open Policy 
Hour held Tuesday will be available to everyone. Additional agenda 
details and more information about ARIN XXIV will be posted on our 
website as we get closer to the meeting, so check back often!
