[arin-announce] Board Petitions Close; Statements of Support Reminder

In accordance with the Election Guidelines and 2007 calendar of events, 
the petition process for the ARIN Board of Trustees is now closed. ARIN 
received no petition requests; the slate of Board candidates remains the 
same as announced on 13 September.

The complete list of Board, Advisory Council, and Number Resource 
Organization Number Council (NRO NC) candidates, brief biographies, and 
a form to voice support for any candidate are online at:
	https://app.arin.net/election/

Designated member representatives (DMR) from ARIN General Members in 
good standing will be asked to vote for two (2) candidates in the Board 
election and five (5) candidates in the Advisory Council election. 
Elections will be held online 19-26 October 2007.  DMRs from ARIN 
General Members in good standing will also be asked to vote for one (1) 
candidate in the NRO NC election. The NRO NC election will be held 
online 10-17 October 2007.

ARIN Member Services requires a name and personalized e-mail address be 
on record for the DMR; role accounts are not acceptable. Voter 
eligibility must be established at least 14 calendar days prior to the 
fourth quarter ARIN Members Meeting. Organizations who are not in good 
standing or do not have a valid DMR on file as of 5 October 2007 will 
not be eligible to vote.

Anyone who attends the NANOG 41 meeting in Albuquerque may cast a vote 
onsite in the NRO NC election on 16 October. ARIN XX Public Policy 
Meeting attendees may vote onsite in the NRO NC election on 17 October.
