[arin-announce] System Maintenance Postponed

Due to the effects of Hurricane Ivan, including tornadoes and torrential
rainfalls, ARIN's co-location facility has been operating under backup
power since early last night. The scheduled maintenance has been postponed
until further notice.

Subject: System Maintenance on Saturday September 18, 2004

ARIN will be conducting system maintenance on Saturday September 18, from 
10:00 AM to 6:00 PM Eastern. During this time, most external services, 
such as WHOIS, Web and FTP will continue to operate normally. All incoming 
mail and auto-responses will be queued and processed when the maintenance 
is completed. Credit card payments and IPv6 services will not be 
available.
