ARIN is issuing an open call for General Members in good standing to
nominate candidates for two (2) seats on the Board of Trustees and five
(5) seats on the Advisory Council that become open when current terms
expire on December 31, 2004.
The Board of Trustees election has a Nomination Committee that is
responsible for identifying, recruiting, and certifying a properly
selected slate of candidates to be placed in nomination before the
membership for election. This year's NomCom members are: Scott Bradner
(Chair), David Conrad, Bill Darte, Rob Seastrom, Martin Hannigan, Cameron
Jones, and Steve Larson.
New terms are for three years and begin January 1, 2005. The Board seats
opening are those currently held by Lee Howard and Bill Manning. The
Advisory Council seats opening are currently held by: Paul Andersen, Ron
da Silva, Sanford George, Kevin Martin, and Cathy Wittbrodt. Individuals
may be re-elected for consecutive terms.
Please note:
1. You must be an ARIN General Member in good standing
(http://www.arin.net/elections/electionguidelines.html#gmigs) to nominate
candidates. However, those nominated do not need to be ARIN members.
Self-nominations are permitted. A petition process is available to
nonmembers seeking to nominate themselves.
2. All nominees are subject to the Conflict of Interest statement at:
http://www.arin.net/elections/electionguidelines.html#conflicts
3. Nominations must be received by 23:59 ET on Wednesday, September 22,
2004. In accordance with ARIN's Bylaws, as amended April 20, 2004, each
General Member in good standing may nominate up to three candidates for
each open seat.

member of the Board of Trustees or Advisory Council, use the Nomination
Election Form on the ARIN website at:

ARIN will contact all nominees via e-mail and/or telephone to verify that
they are willing and able to fulfill a three-year term. If ARIN cannot
reach the nominee, the nomination will be rejected.
