ARIN Board Seat Vacated

J. Scott Marcus is resigning from the ARIN Board of Trustees effective 
5 PM EST, Friday, May 10, 2002.  Scott has been a member of the Board
since January 2000. He will be greatly missed. As an active participant
in the Internet community and as a member of the Board, he has
contributed to the success of ARIN.  We wish him all the best.

As his term would have expired at the end of this year, an interim
appointment will not be made. Instead, this open slot on the Board will be 
filled through the normal election process at the next ARIN meeting.
