New ICANN Director Elected by Address Council

At its teleconference meeting on Wednesday 2 August 2000, the 
Address Council elected Dr. Sang Hyun Kyong to fill the next 
ASO position on the ICANN board. This position will be vacated 
by Pindar Wong, currently Vice-Chair of ICANN, on 30 September 
this year, and Dr. Kyong will serve from that time for a term 
of three years.
