From memsvcs at arin.net Tue Mar 1 07:12:43 2005 From: memsvcs at arin.net (Member Services) Date: Tue, 1 Mar 2005 07:12:43 -0500 Subject: [v6wg] Closing IPV6 Working Group & Mailing List Message-ID: <20050301121245.E3F331FE8E@mercury.arin.net> On March 1, 2005, ARIN will close the IPv6 Working Group and mailing list (v6wg at arin.net). As the ARIN policy process evolves, it is appropriate to keep all discussions in the general policy forum instead of issue-oriented working groups. This has the advantage of keeping the discussion in front of the community at large and possibly sparking interest in some who were not in the specific forum. The Public Policy Mailing List (ppml at arin.net) will remain active as the sole list for all ARIN policy discussions. If you are not already subscribed to PPML, you may find subscription information at: http://www.arin.net/mailing_lists/ On behalf of the ARIN Board, Advisory Council, and community, I thank Thomas Narten for his service as the IPv6 Working Group Chairman. He brought insight, enthusiasm, and persistence to his charge. The IPv6 Working Group mailing list will be archived and will remain available on the ARIN website at the above URL. The entire Internet community is invited and encouraged to participate in the discussion of policy proposals on the Public Policy Mailing List. Your active participation in policy discussions is integral to the process and will help to form policies that are beneficial to all. Regards, Raymond A.
