Message-ID: <200103012049.MAA12867@pox.remarque.org> Jim, First of all it isn't clear that any ARIN policy has caused the routing table to grow. This is shown by the fact that the prefix length that is growing the most rapidly in the global routing table is a /24 and ARIN does not assign /24s. Further, ARIN, it's staff, and the advisory council are very concerned about making policies that affect the global routing table size. Perhaps you should participate more in the process, come to ARIN open policy meetings, visit NANOG occasionally. Also remember that when actually meeting people in person, you'll find that they're just hardworking people trying to do the best they can. As you continue to hide behind email and send notes like this, you will get no one's cooperation and you'll miss out on trying to really solve the problem. If you have some constructive input about topics that we can discuss at the RTMA working group, I'd love to include them in the agenda.
