Frankly, I'm sure I'll be at least semi-retired and maybe dead before IPv4 disappears. ( and while I'm 60, my folks are 90 and my grandmother will be 107 in September so we're looking at a long time. :-) ) I would have to get my current upstream ISP to start routing IPv6 and their comment so far has been "We'll be ready when IPv6 gets here". I'm simply willing to start looking at v6 and start a push from the bottom to get v6 adopted and available. If ARIN has no desire to give legacy v4 holders such as me IPv6 space, I'll just stay with v4 and give up trying to keep up with the PPML mailing list. > > I'm sure there are legacy /24 holders who wouldn't be able to get IPv6 > PI space under this proposal, but what I'm really trying to address are > people for whom that is holding them back from adopting IPv6. > > -Scott > -- Cliff Bedore 7403 Radcliffe Dr. College Park MD 20740 cliffb at cjbsys.bdb.com http://www.bdb.com Amateur Radio Call Sign W3CB For info on ham radio, http://www.arrl.org/
