New policy proposals must be submitted by 23:59 EDT, 16 August 2008, in order to be considered by the ARIN Advisory Council for possible inclusion on the ARIN XXII agenda. The ARIN Internet Resource Policy Evaluation Process requires that proposed policies must be submitted at least 60 days prior to the meeting. Those who wish to propose new ARIN number resource policies or modifications to existing policies must submit a Policy Proposal Template. Send the template via e-mail to policy at arin.net. Many of the services provided by ARIN are important parts of critical Internet infrastructure. ARIN is looking for sites that are situated on the west coast of the United States or Canada. The vendor must provide or allow: * 2 X 1Gb (Gigabit Ethernet) Full Duplex, 1000Mb, no auto. * Native IPv4 and IPv6 connectivity. * ARIN BGP announcements. * A /24 IPv4 Address Assignment with transit to the Internet. * A /48 IPv6 Address Assignment with transit to the Internet. * A full view of the IPv4 and IPv6 routing table. * 24x7x365 NOC contact information for problem resolution. * Environmental and security infrastructure at their facilities. All contractual terms and conditions related to the work performed, nondisclosure of information, or liability issues must be detailed. ARIN will require that the vendor performing this service sign a nondisclosure agreement due to the proprietary nature of the information ARIN retains for its subscribers. Proposals must be submitted before 31 July 2008 for consideration, and must include a statement of work, full pricing details, and references. We anticipate vendor selection by 30 August with deployment no later than 60 days after the contract is awarded.
