I think John clarified that unless we fix the fundamental
address allocation policy, it's not clear we have a way
to do a sane and reasonable initial allocation that supports
6rd, so we probably need to look at fixing not just subsequent
allocation policy, but also initial allocation policy.

Sometimes picking up rocks reveals things underneath
you really hadn't planned on coming face-to-face with.  ^_^;
