[arin-ppml] Advisory Council Meeting Results - November 2010

In accordance with the ARIN Policy Development Process the ARIN Advisory
Council (AC) held a meeting on 18 November 2010 and made decisions about
several draft policies and and a proposal.

The AC moved a revised version of the following draft policy to last
call (it will be posted separately to last call):

   2010-8: Rework of IPv6 assignment criteria

The AC recommended that the ARIN Board of Trustees adopt the following
draft policies:

   2010-10 (Global Proposal): Global Policy for IPv4 Allocations by the
IANA Post Exhaustion
   2010-12: IPv6 Subsequent Allocation

The AC revised the following sentence in 2010-12 from "Justification for
these allocations will be reviewed every 3 years and reclaimed if it is
not in use" to "Justification for transitional allocations will be
reviewed every 3 years and reclaimed if they are no longer in use for
transitional purposes."

The AC accepted the following proposal on to the AC's docket for
development and evaluation:

   120. Protecting Number Resources
