I never said I objected. I inferred that some of your
rationale
is weak. It is. Some of the inference should have been in
question form. Are there knobs for turning this on and off? 

I'll support these proposals, but not for the reasons you
seem to 
support them for. They are good security measures and don't
need
straw man arguments.
