No, they aren't.  Businesses are made up largely of people, but, they are 
not
people.  The theory that corporations have rights under the constitution is
a legal fallacy.  One of the biggest mistakes made in legal precedent in 
this
country was the determination that corporations have a right to free speech
and (virtually unlimited) participation in the political process.
