[ppml] AC Initial Review

On March 3, 2005, the ARIN Advisory Council (AC) concluded their initial
review of three proposed policies.

The AC supported moving the following proposals forward for discussion:

	Lame Delegations in IN-ADDR.ARPA
	http://www.arin.net/mailing_lists/ppml/3176.html

	Directory Services Overhaul
	http://www.arin.net/mailing_lists/ppml/3166.html

These proposals will be numbered and formally posted by March 19, 2005
(the posting deadline for the upcoming meeting).

The AC abandoned the following proposal:

	Adding an HD ratio choice for new IPv4 allocations
	http://www.arin.net/mailing_lists/ppml/3175.htm

The AC stated that in the past a similar proposal had been discussed and
was rejected by the community.  In accordance with the ARIN Internet
Resource Policy Evaluation Process the author may elect to use the
petition process to attempt to advance their proposal.  The deadline for
the author to initiate a petition is 2400 Eastern Time, March 9, 2005.
