[arin-discuss] How does ARIN know who is CEO?

Hi Michael,

Why would ARIN care who the CEO is? Are you perhaps
referring to the e-mail sent out yesterday titled:

"Important New Requirement for IPv4 Requests"

because, nowhere in that do I see the term CEO. I
see the term "officer of the organization"

Just a reminder, U.S. courts have held that any "officer"
of an organization has legal authority to bind the
organization to legal agreements. It is not necessary
to get the CEO's thumbprint on a document - any person
designated by the company as a company officer can
do it - and if any company officer is notified by ARIN
of anything, it's legally equivalent to notifying the
CEO.
